Okay,
okay, I'm not just a slacker, I'm a mega-slacker! Yes, it has
really been almost ten months since I last updated this page.
I
can honestly say that there's been a lot going on in those months
other than the usual birthdays, holidays, family stuff, etc.
I've had to deal with some health issues (all is well) and some
changes in my life. My kids are doing great, and it's amazing
(and gratifying) to watch them turn into young adults.
I've
been writing some, did a photo shoot this week for a photographer
friend, Michael
Loftis, and those
are the photos you see here and there on the revamped web site.
There are a whole bunch on the Promo Photos
page, check 'em out! And yes, I did actually finally and really
truly cut my hair (sorry, Kim!). It wasn't my fault, my
hairdresser made me - she said the ends were split to next Tuesday,
so I succumbed to her ministrations and let her do her thing. I
haven't had hair this short in years, so I still kind of fall off
when I brush it. But it looks healthy, and it feels great!
(And yes, I'm growing it back out again. Maybe.)
I've
been working on a lot of web sites, and that's always cool. I
love painting, whatever the medium. I finally realized I'd been
paying so much attention to other people's web sites that I'd sorely
neglected my own, and the new pictures inspired me to revamp
everything. I may not be quite done, though - that's the
problem with creativity, you're always fine-tuning and redoing stuff!
We
have some good shows coming up, so if you're in the area, pop in and
keep us company - we'd love to see you!
