This is Carey's second CD.  Here's how to get it into your hands!

Hello - 

We started production on my latest CD, Let It Flow, in January 2003 and it progressed wonderfully.  The CD consists of eleven songs, including seven orginals and four really cool cover tunes.  The CD encompasses genres from ballads to blues to pop and rock, and many of the songs were written specifically for this record. 

Guest artists on the CD include Jeff Pevar (David Crosby, Graham Nash, Ray Charles, Rickie Lee Jones, Kenny Loggins, Shawn Colvin), Jon Carroll (Mary Chapin Carpenter, Starland Vocal Band), Fred Lieder (Lisa Moscatiello), Nick Hughs (33 West), the marvelous sassy sister backing vocals of Lisa Taylor and Dana Connor, and more.

To date, we've completed all of the tracking, which is by far the most expensive and time-consuming portion of the recording process.  With this done and five of the 11 songs mixed, all that's left is mixing the remaining six songs, mastering, finalizing the artwork, and duplication.  The CD is *thisclose* to being in your hands!

This is your opportunity to really participate in the support of independent music and the arts.  We are offering special pre-sale packages and donation/investment opportunities for you to take advantage of.  Your participation will help finalize this CD - remember that trickles of water built the Grand Canyon! 

With your help, we can finish Let It Flow within a matter of weeks (as opposed to months or even years) and make it available to you, to stores, and to radio.  Being an independent artist with a family to raise, this project has been delayed much longer than we originally anticipated.  This is a great album of music with incredible artists participating, and this is a wonderful chance for you to be involved in the creation of something special.

Any donation amount is always welcome.  However, if you donate $250 or more towards the completion of the CD you'll receive the same merchandise in the $200 pre-sale package, a special recognition mug with my original artwork on it, and more.  You will also be named (and thanked, of course!) in a special section of the CD liner notes and will have my eternal gratitude for your sweet support.

If you donate $1,000 or more, you will be listed in the CD liner notes as an executive producer and be eligible for a private concert just for you and your friends!  (Private concert dates and locations to be mutually agreed upon.)
